Overview
VOMS-400 (OPH) is the 4K generation of Sometech's RealMicro platform, built for ophthalmic surgery.
The 4K 3D monitor lets the surgeon maintain a true head-up posture throughout the whole procedure, providing freedom from the neck pain, back pain, eye strain and headache that come with conventional microscopy. Everyone in the OR sees the same real-time 3D image, so cooperation and teaching are effortless and captured 3D footage can be reused for training.
Sometech's patented lens technology minimises chromatic aberration and its image processing keeps focus fine and the field of view wide. The microscope head carries multi-lens optics (20/40 mm) for anterior and posterior surgery with motorised movement on the foot pedal, and the motorised vertical, horizontal and tilting extension arm with C-curve geometry optimises the space around the operating table.
Key features
True head-up posture
The surgeon watches a 4K 3D monitor instead of an eyepiece for the entire procedure.
Innovative change of the OR
Effective connection with other surgical devices optimises workflow during surgery.
Easy cooperation and education
The whole team observes every detail in real-time 3D; captured images serve for training.
Minimised distortion
Patented lens technology minimises chromatic aberration and the fatigue it causes.
Motorised turret optical zoom
Two-type turret lens (D.L 20 mm / 40 mm) with motorised adjustment.
Optimised OR space
Motorised vertical, horizontal and tilting extension arm, C-curve for the surgeon's straight view.
Microscope head
Multi-lens 20/40 mm for anterior and posterior surgery, integrated wide-angle viewer, Z-axis movement.
Caster lock and foot switch
One-touch locking system and programmable foot switch.
Clinical indications
Cataract, lacrimal gland, retina, cornea, glaucoma and blepharoplasty surgery.
Why this device
4K resolution plus motorised XYZ control and image-shake reduction — the highest-detail configuration in the RealMicro range.
